This is Bugs (above). Our first ever Munchkin and the reason we fell in love with the breed.

About

IMC is a TICA (The International Cat Association) registered cattery out of Indiana, USA. We have a heartfelt passion for cats, especially the Munchkin breed. Cats and kittens are raised in home with the utmost love and care.

We aim to achieve 3 goals:

  1. Health – ensuring the overall mental and physical health of our cats always comes first. This is achieved through vet visits, play time, human interaction and touch, DNA testing, health conditions testing and appropriate vaccinations.
  2. Temperament – a cat with a great personality makes a household such a happy place. Our Munchkins have a very cuddly personality and love nothing more than to get close without being overbearing, unlike many other cat breeds. They often enjoy being swaddled like baby kittens EVEN as adults. It’s really an amazing experience.
  3. Type – this refers to the color and coat pattern of a cat (amongst other anatomical traits). Our cats carry a variety of rare genes that may result in kittens displaying short legs, karpati pattern, calico coat, chocolate color, folded ears, long hair.

We breed Standard (aka short legs) Munchkins or Minuets, Nonstandard (regular length legs) Munchkins or Minuets, and rare experimental cross breeds (including Scottish Kilts).
